Mariana Leung graduated with a BFA at Parsons School of Design. She has since worked in all aspects of the fashion industry, from design/technical design, marketing to photojournalism. Her work has been featured in publications such as InStyle, Brides Magazine, Elle Canada, and Marie Claire. She is a regular guest on The Doctor Oz Show. Nadia Conway is a dancer and creator from the Rivertowns area of NY. She graduated from CUNY Hunter College with a BA in Dance and has made 3 short dance films. Nadia loves decorating, event planning, making things, and being part of creating something. She has interned with the Vail Dance Festival in CO as a venue manager and is currently volunteering with the Queensboro Dance Festival.

His latest film installments are set to be released in Fall 2019, “True Colours”, a European Visual Poem/Film Series & “Romeo & Julius” a modern take on a classic tale using only the essential theme of forbidden love. Additionally, He is currently crowdfunding for his debut feature film “SHATTERPROOF”, dedicated to his late sister Tyisha Marie, set to begin principle photography summer 2020.

Jamileh Nadelmann is a recent BFA Fashion Design Honors graduate from Parsons School of Design. This piece for the StylePointe 2017 Emcee is a part of her thesis collection, inspired by the social implications of mobile technology. The photoseries ‘Removed’ of distracted couples on their phones by Eric Pickersgill inspired the silhouettes of her garments. She has presented her collections at Milan Design Week, Brooklyn Fashion Week, TRANOÏ and last year’s Stylepointe. Among others, her publications include i-D Magazine, the Style Almanac and The Impression. Currently, she works in Sportswear as the Assistant Knitwear Designer for Men’s Wearhouse.

Clinton Edward
EMCEE
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Clinton began his dance and theater training there and performed professionally with Silvertree Productions. Graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC with a BFA in Dance, he has performed with TAKE Dance, Steps Repertory Ensemble, Mettin Movement, Jonathan Royse Windham, and the Broadway Dance Lab (Cycle 3) as well as touring internationally with Korhan Başaran & Artists in Turkey and Compania Tania Perez Salas in Mexico. Clinton was most recently seen performing off-Broadway in the immersive spectacular Queen of the Night. He is currently a core artist with LubDub. Theatre Co, dancer in Schoen Movement Company, and frequent contemporary teacher at Steps on Broadway. His choreography can be seen in the music video “Closer2U” for upcoming pop artist PRIMME and this fall in a new immersive work in collaboration with Kristin Yancy.

A native of Rochester New York, Christian Payment moved to New York City in 2012 to pursue a degree in film production. After two years in attendance of the Brooklyn College film department he decided to apply his knowledge and experience to a career in freelance videography. A native of New Jersey, Marc Witmer studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he received numerous design awards and spent his summers learning more about the fashion industry through various internships in New York. In 2003, Marc moved to New York where he currently lives and works. He has spent over a decade working with and learning from designers like Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein. Since then he has branched out and pursued his passion for makeup, photography and costume design. He currently works with companies Project44 and Touchè Pas Dance as well as having worked with MMDC as Art Director since 2009.

Sarah Duncan

Sarah M. Duncan is a playwright, performance poet, and arts organizer. She has performed her work and been produced in a variety of venues, including The Wild Project, The Cherry Lane Theatre, Silent Barn, La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, W.O.W. Café Theatre, Baruch Performing Arts Center, The Living Theatre, and Judson Memorial Church. Sarah’s poetry has been published by nin Poetry Journal, Broadside Journal, Asinine Poetry, and Ghost House Review.
