Brief description about the collection: “OFF EXPLOSIVES” – Known for its surrealist, avant-garde designs, this collection will feature massive anatomical details and hyper-realistic shapes. It’ll frequently blur the line between fashion and pop-culture shock value. This collection is often meant to start a conversation rather than sell everyday clothing/garments, by creating a spectacle, and can generate viral buzz and establish the overarching aesthetic direction of the brand.
Bio of the designer: DU.URE is a multidisciplinary artist who works with textiles, fashion design, music production, sculpture, photography, and cinematography. Originally from Atlanta, GA. DU.URE received his BA with a concentration in Studio Fine Arts from Georgia State University. In addition to a graphic design career, he’s been published in Vogue, Not Just A Label, and King Kong Magazine. He’s shown works around Atlanta including Ernest G. Welch Gallery. Inspired by anything, the attraction of digital and industrial design plays a role in every idea that naturally comes to mind. DU.URE is erasing the traditional standards what’s considered postmodern design in present day.
