Brief description about the collection: The collection “Paloma” explores upcycled performance couture engineered for movement. Dove in Spanish—a universal emblem of peace—Paloma draws on themes of freedom, resilience, and grace. Upcycled materials are reimagined into garments that seem suspended between structure and release. Corseted precision contours the body with intent, while airy and ample fabrics drift beyond it, softening the line between discipline and ease. The collision of saturated red with soft crème stages a chromatic tension playing a quiet duality. This interplay becomes a lived narrative reflecting the experience of the body: shaped by rigid rules, yet moving with grace and fluidity.

Bio of the designer: Anelore Atelier is a New York–based fashion studio founded by Anne-Laure Gilard, a French-born designer whose work centers on sustainable fashion. “Atelier” — studio in French — reflects a practice rooted in slow fashion, where sketching, designing and sewing happen under one roof. After relocating to NYC to pursue a career in marketing and design, Anne-Laure discovered sewing in 2022 and immediately began designing for private clients. She conceives and handcrafts every piece using recuperated, deadstock, thrifted and donated materials. By upcycling discarded textiles into refined garments, she offers a mindful approach to fashion that prioritizes longevity, individuality, and environmental responsibility.
