ABOUT
Leighann Kowalsky engages her 25+ years of professional performing experience, augmented by degrees in Communications (B.S) and Choreography (M.F.A.), in her ongoing work as a performer, choreographer, educator and researcher. Kowalsky’s choreography wrestles at the intersection of physical culture, circus and film. She is the Research Supervisor and an adjunct professor at Reinhardt University’s MFA in Choreography program, a curriculum which she co-designed, and she serves as the Global Coordinator for the Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication. Kowalsky’s work has been performed and awarded across the globe, and she continues to perform and teach internationally.
